First thing’s first.. What is Oslob??
It is a place located on the Southern Part of Cebu. They’re celebrating their festival (or the feast of St. Joseph) on the 1st of May – i think. The family and relatives of our aunts’ husbands (yeah, two of them) are living there.

We are to go to Oslob (like last year) and we have to go there by dawn since it would be a very long – and tiring – trip. I prepared my things on 12 midnight – extra clothes in case we would want to go swimming. But because I am insomniac especially on vacations – or should we say “nocturnal” – I decided to go surf the net and just wait for the time to depart.

Sometime 3:00 am, I decided to lie on bed when my mom woke up. She told me to take a bath. Honestly, I was kinda sleepy during that time and kind of regretted why I did not force myself to sleep when it was still a li`l bit early.

So I took a bath and woke up the household. I want to go there ASAP so that I could take some time sleeping in the vehicle while we’re on the way to Oslob.

DEPARTURE

I went to the comfort room – well, that’s sort of a habit – and then off we go!
I want to sleep, but because I drank Moreishi Choco Energy Drink (I kind of skipped that “Energy” part there), I had enough energy to STAY AWAKE.

GASOLINE STATION

We stopped by Shell and had the vehicle’s gas on full tank and air for the tires. (oh! luk at mei engglis!) I – again – went to the comfort room. (I told you it’s becoming a habit! or maybe Bessy was right all along! I have a fetish on comfort rooms)
Anyways, we were (kind of) entertained with their loud music. And it was so amfin’ lolness.

CARCAR STOP (RATIONS)

I failed to have the other activities recorded by their time so let’s just skip those parts. But to make it short, we were laughing and laughing and laughing hard that I wasn’t really able to sleep at all.
I was then complaining that I am really hungry and my mom asked what we want to eat, I said “Anything!“. Just then I saw a Jollibee street sign saying it’s 2km away from where we are. I then said, “Ma, 2km na lang! Jollibee nah!“
We decided to stop at Jollibee Carcar but then it was still closed. Bummer. We have no choice but just to buy bread from Julie’s Bakeshop (not that I am complaining because I dun like Julie`s.. their bread is great!! but still.. teh fries~! TT__TT)

JOURNEY RESUMES

We proceeded with our journey with already enough survival rations for the trip.xD
We ate bread but since I got sick with the ride (I dunno but it usually happens to me these days.. sigh.. i’m probably getting so anemic..), I was only able to eat one because I was afraid I might threw up. After eating that small piece of bread, I drank almost half of teh bottle of teh iced tea.

THE JOURNEY’S CALVARY

My stomache hurts!! Oh.. the pain!! Iced tea really is acidic~! Gawd.. I can’t take the pain, seriously!! I suffered how many hours of this pain. I kept on saying, “Iwouldnolongerdrinkicedteaifmytummysempty iwouldnolongerdrinkicedteaifmytummysempty“
I bowed my head hoping I could just sleep the pain off. But it really won’t go away! So instead of thinking of this pain, I decided to utter a prayer in my mind. I was having this conversation with the Lord, and I shared to Him my stomache really hurts. Believe it or not, but everytime I kind of complain about the pain, it vanishes. Then I get surprised and the pain comes back again. And when I tell Him again that it hurts, the pain would go away. When I made myself busy talking with Him, I didn’t realize that the pain was gone.

ARRIVAL

We finally arrived. I was not able to get any sleep on the trip so after the “amen’s” and the “blesses“, I lay down on the balcony until they called us for breakfast. Well, before laying down, actually, I went to the comfort room, first.

We had breakfast. Yum~!

I had my fill. Now, it’s time to relax.
There, we met Jake, a 2-yr-old boy they call Santino.

We stayed at the sala and watched TV, played PSP and was trying to sleep.

ICE

We went to buy ice and unlike here in the city where you can just buy ice at the eskina or just by the neighbor, here, we have to go by car just to buy ice. We took Jake with us. And well..  before leaving, I went to the comfort room first.  (my~ seems that i can’t leave the place without going to the  CR)
After buying ice, we looked for a nice place for swimming. We went to that place where I took some pictures of the horizon last year. (if you were following my blog, i hope you’d remember.. the one with the burnt church)
We find it quite dangerous since the “walls” are very slippery and in order to go back up, you have to walk by those huge rocks. And it’s not really ideal for swimming so we decided to look for another place. But before leaving the place, we took some pictures.





I love that tree!
We left the place and went to the beach near the cemetery. It seems to be a good place for swimming so yeah. We found the spot!

TIME TO GO BACK

Yeah, we have to go back before the ice starts to melt.
When we arrived there, I was very tired. So I kept on looking for a place to sleep.

NEVER LAND, HERE I COME!

I can’t take it anymore, I am really sleepy! So I no longer cared what other people would think of me, I lay down at the bed-like thingy at the balcony even when there are other people there. Fortunately, aunt Amay told us that there is no one in the ‘other’ house. We went there and yosh! Finally!
I went to the CR first and went back to where my mother and aunt was and made myself comfortable. My aunt then got a banig and so I moved there.
I was finally able to sleep!

LUNCH TIME

We woke up to have lunch at the ‘main’ house.
After having a grub, we then planned to go swimming.

PSP MODE

I was waiting for them at the balcony. To avoid boredom, I played with the PSP. I love playing teh PSP! Then Jake would really want to come with us but his nanay won’t allow him. So we have to make ways for us to leave without him noticing.

BEACH MODE

We finally arrived at the beach. We found there the plant which was used to crown Jesus.
I wasn’t able to go to the comfort room before leaving the house so I was really, uhm.. you know..xD
Mik2x accompanied me behind that yellow wall[?] of the cemetery. There I was able to get that liquid out I was holding in – and Mik2 too.xD
I was not really on the mood to go swimming so I stayed by the shore and took some pix again.

I am scared of open waters but i love the horizon.

We did not stay that long so those who went swimming changed their clothes and off we go to Nang Saning’s house(another house, btw).
We were offered to have lunch there so I ate again.

THE SHORE

We went to the shore near the house. There were some ants by the coconut tree and we were thinking of burning them. Fortunately, we were called by our aunt so we weren’t able to make much harm to them.xD

TIME WITH “HIM”

They went out so I was left at the balcony doing nothing.
In the end, it is always Him whom I turned to. Just like what I always quote, “When everyone else turn their backs on you, He won’t”.
So I spent the time talking with Him.

MAKI`FIESTA TIME

We went near the church where there are lots of people. It seems to be the center of the festival. We bought some mangoes but the tindera accidentally cut her finger’s skin and it was bleeding so our cousin took her place and peeled the mangoes. We kept on teasing him and people often mistook him to be the vendor.
We were wandering around taking more pictures till we decided to go back to the ‘main’ house.

We played with Jake and he was enjoying himself at entertaining us.
He was so hyperactive that time that his family was also surprised seeing him like that.
People there are so hospitable, they offered us food and drinks again when we went to another house.

It’s a long way back home so we have to leave early. We bid them goodbye and thanked them for the warm hospitality. Jake cried when he saw us leaving. I went to the comfort room and off we go.
I took some pictures on the way but I was so marvelled at the sight and beauty that I took only a few of them. I saw how BIG the world and how WIDE the horizon are.. and came to realize how SMALL I am in this big world.
Buh`bye Oslob! Till next year!

We brought her home and we saw the puppies! They were so cute!
We took the black one and Aunt Amay took the fluffiest and the other brown puppy.

We resumed our journey. Seeing how close the black and the brown puppy are, we decided to take them both since it would be sad to separate them.

We finally arrived at Pit`os and brought her home. She took the puppy and Mik2x went with her.

I could finally took some rest. But then because it’s night time, I cannot sleep! (o_O)
I told you I was nocturnal! huhu..

Anyways, that’s how I spent my first day on May, 2009!^^

Yosh~!!

I’m making this draft of that new komiks i am going to make!! xD
i have thought of this one last sem..xD

yehey!!

I’ve already finished the flow of the story of the first episode!!

woOhoO! i just feel like posting this one here..!!

tutal nilalangaw na naman tong blog kong to.. better rev it up!! xD

well.. the whole story is about AMAYA (“Night Rain”) who was sent to Tenshi Gakuen by the Elite Org. for a new mission..
She has to recover a top secret document accidentally sent to the said school, which also happens to be her member file information.. If anyone sees it, then she is automatically exterminated from the organization.

She lives as an ordinary school girl as her cover, called “YUMI” by her friends. But there’s this one thing that made this mission harder than her previous missions. what could that thing be?

kulang ko na lng ung mga episodes!! xD

pero I would have things thought over!! xD

I would just have to buy lead, eraser and ruler and BOOM!!! start na ako!! xD

Still can’t get over it! xD

I was deprived of how many hours of sleep just for this proposal, but it’s all worth it! :D
we see how “problematic” others are with their reports, while I and my partner spent our time idly.. xD

Ewan ko bah.. mei panahon pa nga kami nang pagdrama.. sharing of hinanakit’s instead of discussing about our management proposal.. Hectic maxado sked.. and ewan talaga!! kakaworla~!! katamad isipin kung marami ka pang dapat iisipin! xD

Anlaki pa nang nagastos namin.. We printed the proposal thrice! Tas dapat pa ipa`photocopy twice.. And dapat ding ipa`acetate! @__@ meigad!!

Kagabi, prob ko ung attire ko! Wala pa mama ko! Tas tulog na sis ko! Wla na tutulong sakin sa paghanap outfit TT___TT
buti na lang kanina, my cousin lent me her attire nung nag`emcee xa.. (white blouse and black slacks) I just used my school shoe(ung mei belt) para sapatos(alangan! xD)

I woke up 7:30 and we were supposed to meet with my bestfriend and partner at Honey’s bhouse, 7:30! xD
I arrived there 8:30 (Filipino time).

We had the same outfit. WHITE BLOUSE, BLACK SLACKS, NAKA PONYTAIL AND SAME MAKE-UP. Nakawhite sandals lang xa, while I was wearing mei black school shoe. Maraming nagtanong kung sasayaw ba daw kami.

9am, andun na kami sa Mezzanine. Everyone was preparing for their report. Para palabas ng pressure and nervousness, sumasayaw`sayaw na lang kami, nag`fusion at pa`kanta`kanta. Para tuloy kaming mga loka`loka! xD

Here’s the order..

1 – Philip’s group
2 – Aying, Joshua, Kuya Onin
3 – Alex’s group
4 – Honey, Anne, Frank
5 – Iggy, Rachel, Juliet
6 – Erika’s group
7 – AYA and MARiZ
8 down, wewan! xD (7 is my fave and lucky number :D )

sa dabarkadz, kami panghuli.. group1 got 95. from group 2 to 4, 90. Mariz and I looked at each other.

Mariz : Aya, wag na taung mag`expect ng malaki ha??
AYA : kahit 80 lang, uki na~

group 5 needs to go back on monday. nung tinawag na group 6, tumayo na kaming dalawa. I asked “Kinakabahan ka bah?” She said, “Mejo..”
Then we had our “HAKUNA MATATA” friendship sign.xD
At aun~ tinawag na nga group namin.

When we entered the room…

AYA and Mariz : *looks at each other*
AYA : *whispers* un lang?

Panels : *laughs* aba! pati ba naman un? Praktisado!

Mariz started discussing about the rationale. I noticed our friends were there by the door, tinitignan kami. After the rationale, it was my turn to discuss about the flow of the system. Minsan, tumitigil ako sa pagsasalita, nakikita ko kasing parang ndi nakikinig ang mga panel, and I really dun like to talk if parang walang nakikinig. I just look at my partner na nag`ge`gesture naman ng “GO ON.” and I look outside to my friends wishing us luck.

When I finished the presentation, I can never forget the way the panels said
“VERY GOOD! “

It was so flattering that I bowed my head to cover my face right away.

Panel1 : Wala na taung dapat itanong dbah? Naklaro na lahat eh.
Panel2 : Aun eh.. sinabi na nila lahat.
Panel3 : Nakikinig ka pala talaga kei Ms. Manlosa.
AYA : Syempre naman!

Dun wanna end up like `em

Is it just me or does the barkada have issues again? And I thought I’m the only one who felt it :p
Mariz shared to me her hinanakit’s last Thursday; yesterday, Kirby also told me he’s got hinanakit’s; and last night, Honey said that she and Frank felt something not right about the group. So in short, the group DOES have issues! xD


Anyways.. it was always me, Joshua, Kirby and Frank who would ride home together. Yesterday, Kirby went home early(he was with Ponie), Frank also went home early(with Eulo) and Joshua left me(he was with his chick). I had no choice but to go home alone and just take the 13C route.


Somewhere near Talamban, two odd-looking guys got up on the same jeepney I was in. Naka`dreadlocks and were bringing skateboards. They look like “addicts”, not that I’m being too judgmental.. I ignored them at first, but later on, as I overheard their conversation, I got a little interested about what they were talking about.


Guy1 : Sabi ni *name* 5pm dadating na daw xa.. wala pa rin xa gang ngaun.. ano kea nangyari sa kanya noh? [t`was already 7pm]
Guy2 : *nods*
Guy1 : inuman tau mamaya ha?
Guy2 : *nods*
Guy1 : alam ko na ano trip natin.. pag mei nagbebenta ng apple, bili tau.. tas kainin natin apple.. tas inuman tau.. ha?
Guy2 : *nods*
Guy1 : Andami pala nating aabangan mamaya noh?
Guy2 : *nods*
Guy1 : Pupunta sina *name*, *name*, blah blah blah mamaya dbah? Pero wag taung mag`expect na darating cla.. Pero darating naman talaga cla dbah??
Guy2 : *nods*
Guy1 : Chuck, baba na tau dito.
Guy2 : uki.


I know I have taken this a little out of the context since I don’t really know the whole story. I can’t help but conclude that Guy1 was expecting and hoping for their group of friends to come and join them while Guy2 was only making Guy1 feel better by just simple affirmations. Guy2 may know that their other friends won’t really come, while Guy2 was still hoping that they could still gather all together that time. There’s this feeling that they’re actually waiting for something or someone that would never happen or come.


I know they’re conversation was really none of my business but I am really curious to what really happened to them. Do their friends forget them? That’s the main question that’s running inside my mind after I’ve heard of their talk. It may sound “senseless” to us but there’s this something that I realized. If their friends really forget about them, and they were just there – expecting and hoping for them to arrive - I DON’T WANT TO END UP LIKE THEM.


I dun want our group of friends to forget each other. I dun want them to forget everything we’ve been through. I dun want them to leave. I dun want to be left behind. I want them to stay -  I NEED them to STAY.
That is why, I am aiming to preserve this friendship. I’d do my best to help save it, to resolve these issues.

How to Parse Integer Values in Stacks

I was just so happy and proud to be able to come up with this simple code for parsing integer values!
Like when i input 592,it should be stored into the stack as 5, 9, and 2.

Click HERE to see the code written in teh book.
But it is much easier for me to use the code given by our instructor – it’s much simpler and more understandable.

So here’s my code for parsing..

     int hold, counter, store;

     hold = el;

     for(counter = 10; (hold/counter)!=0 ; counter = counter*10);
     counter = counter/10;

     while(counter>=1)
     {
          store = hold / counter;
          push(store);
          hold = hold % counter;

Dun understand the flow of the program code?
Allow me to illustrate.. [char! i lurb explaining things..xD when i'm on teh mood, that is]

We entered 592. el is then equal to 592.. in that case, hold is also equal to 592.

We proceed to the for-loop statement..

counter = 10

hold/counter = 592/10 = 59  /** integer division.. TRUE since quotient is not equal to 0**/

The next line would then divide the counter by 10 since in the last loop, it was evident that the current value of counter is greater than the value of hold.

counter = counter / 10 = 1000 / 10 = 100

Now, to explain what are happening inside the while-loop statement…

Then we just had our random and trivial talks again.. he then arrived..

So the text trips started.. Honey didn’t stop sending GM’s asking for help to convince Kirby not to quit.. She even started blaming herself and cried.. I also sent a GM saying that I received double bad news this evening and special mention kei honey to stop blaming herself..

Laica : [she's not really part of teh barkada but she's a dear friend (:] Bakit? Ano ung 2nd bad news?
AYA : Si kirby, nagtatampo :c kalas na daw xa sa barkada.. Umiiyak na nga si Honey eh..
Laica : Kea pala sa GM mo, sabi mo wag nya sisihin sarili nya.. awtz.. dapat masettle nyo na yan.. ang ganda pa naman ng barkada nyo..

With those words, I was even more encouraged to never let him go..
Rachel, Ling and Enna joined in convincing him not to quit..
Here are some messages that I remembered and some replies..

  • Kirby : I dun love the barkada anymore.. It’s enough for you to see who I really am..
  • AYA : dbah sabi mo na hanggang sa magkaanak tau.. hanggang sa magkaapo tau, prends porebir?
    Kirby : promises can be broken..
  • AYA : Kirby naman oh! Ano ba talaga reason!?
    Kirby : Punta keu dito samin para malaman nyo.
    AYA : bat pa kami kelangan pumunta jan!?
    Kirby : maglalaro keu ng baraha.. tas ako.. matutulog lang.. [amf~ >_< ung sa canteen na naman!!]
  • Charx : Kapal ng mukha nyang magsabing quit na xa!? D pde un!! D xa pdeng magquit!!
  • AYA : Anong quit!? ano to!? CLAN!? bsta bsta ka lang magqui`quit?
    Kirby : As members sa BSiT, dapat irespeto nyo ano gusto ko..
    AYA : we’re not just MEMBERS.. we’re a GROUP OF FRiENDS!
  • Honey : this is not about love.. it’s about friendship.. a UNiQUE and SPECiAL FRiENDSHiP!
  • AYA : sabi ni laica ang ganda daw ng barkada natin.. sayang naman! walang tulugan! paytz ako jan! ausin lang natin to!
  • Honey : Game ako! walang tulugan kahit na 7:30 pa pasok bukas! Game lang!
  • Onin : Nandirito kami ang barkada mong tunay aawit sau.. sa lungkot at ligaya, hirap at ginhawa, kami’y kasama mo.. [knta ng APO >_<]
    AYA : nyu!! nakakaiyak naman GM mo!
  • Charx : bsta kerbz.. kilala ka namin, ndi ka basta2x aalis sa barkada.. kilala mo na din kami, d ka namin iiwan kung ano man yang problema mo.. tutulungan ka namin.. bahala ka! d ka namin bsta bstang bibitawan..
  • Enna : Ano bah? ang ganda na ng bonding natin tas mei aalis? Lokohan ba to!?
  • Onin : Spateti u like? [haha.. palahi, joe kerr talaga tong si kuya]
  • Charx : Mei malaki talagang rason sa likod nito..
    AYA : Whatever it is.. I won’t give up on him… BSiT won’t.
  • Rachel : Kung quit ka.. quit din ako!
    Kirby : Cge bah.. para marami tau..
  • Honey : Wag na natin pilitin.. Sasbihin naman daw nya bukas desisyon at rason nya >_<
  • Van : [not our kabarkada but also a dear friend] ano bang drama yan aya emo?
    AYA : si kirby, titiwalag na daw :c
    Van : ah.. binasted ni Honey? Marami pa naman jan pde maging gf eh..
    AYA : Loka ka! d dahil jan noh!
  • AYA : I’ve lost mei friends before.. I won’t let it happen again.. Suri guys kung maxado kami nagflood sa inbox nyo naun.. :c Kirby, kung ano man yan, wag mo naman sana bsta bstang itapon lang ung samahan natin.. BSiT, hntayin natin sasabihin ni kirby..

And just when it was almost 1am..

Kirby : Barkadahang Samasama, Iniingatang Tropa.. “I will not Quit”.. Barkada nyo is here.. Kirby_Kirbz

The moment I read his GM, I just can’t stop myself from crying..
I can’t seem to stop my tears from flowing.
it’s like a sign of relief, and at the same time, a realization that I really do love them and that the group won’t ever be the same without even one of them..

I also realized that everyone would also do anything just to save this friendship.. :)

I LOVE THiS GUYS so much! :)

And for the finale…

Honey : hai salamat.. uki na din!

So there.. happened last January 30 evening till January 31 dawn..

Jessa :[also stopped studying] Ano ba ung kadramahan nyo kagabi?
AYA : Si kirby eh.. quit na daw xa..
Jessa : Huh? Bakit nman daw, if i may know?
AYA : nagtatampo, d daw xe namin xa pinansin.. ewan ko nga.. ang babaw..

Aying : anong blema ya?
AYA : si kirby eh, aalis na daw sa barkada.. nagtampo satin kahapon.. d daw natin xa pinansin..
Aying : awtz.. ako na kakausap sa kanya mamaya.. magkaklase naman kami eh..

on the way to Rose Pharmacy, I saw Ling..
AYA : Ling!!
Ling : hoi! ano nangyari kei Kirby kagabi?
AYA : nagtatampo eh..

in front Rose Pharmacy..
Frank : Alam mo ba nagtampo si Kirby kagabi?
AYA : unga eh.. 1am na nga kami natulog nang dahil jan..
Frank : Hehe.. sa jeep nya na sinabi sakin nagtatampo daw xa..
AYA : so narinig ni sultan?
Frank : d eh.. nakaheadset xe.. pero ewan.. napansin nya cguro.. xa pa ang nagbayad ng pamasahe ni kirby..

Sa AMWSLAi..
AYA : sus! kung mei num lang ako sau, tinext na kita kagabi na sugurin at upakan si kirby! >_< ang oa kgabi.. kakalas daw xa..
Ponie : [newest addition sa barkada.. bes ni kirby] hala ka! bakit? nu ginawa nyo sa kanya? ahahaha..

Oh just any other love triangle stories. It was really a good story. (:

It’s about this girl named Sekai who “broke” Makoto’s charm – secretly taking a pic of teh person you like then use it as a wallpaper for weeks without anyone knowing about it.

And then to make up for it, she helps Makoto to get closer with Kotonoha.

 Blah blah blah..

And the two did end up together. They were a couple. But then Sekai developed feelings for Makoto – and Makoto loved Sekai as well.
Makoto and Kotonoha are still a couple, but he also goes out with Sekai as well. Now that’s cheating!

What would Kotonoha do if she finds out? How would she react? Who will Makoto choose between the two?
And here’s this one question in my head all the time. Why does this manga include “HORROR” as a genre anyway?

Well, you’ll find out as soon as you finish the story.

And well, here’s some words about the ending : TOTALLY UNEXPECTED!!
Yeah.. For such a story to turn out like that.

2009’s First Sunrise

WohOo! It is already 2009!! My, how fast the time is..


And I still haven’t gotten any sleep since this year started. And, well, the year just started like.. 6 hours ago.  xD


I still remember I was stucked  here in my room, facing my laptop and just went online. I was pissed with my Globe CP again. Urgh.. Lagi na lang nasisira in such occasions. When it was quarter to 12, I went up the rooftop to see the fireworks. It’s strange. Fireworks remind me of MoA. Anyways, my camera batt needs to be charged so, unfortunately, no pix. ):


We had our medya noche.. Fruits, cakes, Red Horse, Sprite and anything round. I was wearing a green shirt and green jogging pants(?). Feng Shui says it’d bring luck if I wear green today. Klart and Derk dropped by our house. They were all wearing red. And because of the frustration that the subdivision’s party was cancelled, we had our mini disco ourselves. We had the stereo in full volume and we stayed outside of the house.


We  just entertained ourselves with bottles of Red Horse and a few chit chats. [Oh, the people present were AYA, Anne, Darlene, Rezza, Reggie, Kuya Michael, Rameil, Klart, Adriel] We had so much fun just by our trivial talks.
When there was no more Red Horse, we had foodtrip!! Popcorn, macarons, salad, ampao, ice cream, cake, yum! *drools*
Anyways.. there were a lot of revelations and stories. From stories of the past to abat’s and multo’s to drugs to vices to romance and to just about anything!


At 4:30am, I checked out my camera and saw it can already be used, so we took a few photos. And man! We laughed so hard because of… bsta! xD


Anyways.. we finished all our nonsenseness at nearly 6am.


And voila~


This is the first sunrise of 2009! ^____^
